   mini'app'les Disk of the Month (D.O.M.)

The Minnesota Apple Computer Users' Group, Inc.

 17 'Disks Of the Month' from 1981-83 & 1986

*-> NOTES <-*
D.O.M. 6 - July 1981 is physically labelled "September 1981" though the disk catalog shows "July 1981"
Sep 1981 was probably when the meeting was held and this disk first made available to their members

D.O.M. 4,5,6,7 (April thru October 1981) originally came supplied in *DOS 3.2* format. I used Copy II Plus 5.5 to duplicate them to DOS 3.3 disks prior to imaging with ADTPro. Three files - HELLO, LOADER.OBJ0, INTBASIC - were added from DOS 3.3 System Master to make them bootable and load memory with Integer BASIC.

If you're curious to see the 'D.O.M. 4' original boot process (DOS 3.2) then watch the enclosed video:-
 'VIDEO - 'DOM 4' April 1981 DOS 3.2 bootup (using 13-sector prebooter).wmv'
     (13-sector prebooter is 'SoftSide_Boot13.DSK' available from Asimov FTP server)

D.O.M. 4,5,6,7 originally had DOS 3.2 volume numbers of 004, 005, 006, and 007, respectively (this is what Copy II Plus reports at least)
I transferred them to DOS 3.3 disks with default volume 254

The remaining Disks of the Month originally came supplied in DOS 3.3 format, with the exception of IAC 59 which is ProDOS.

If you find the DSK images of D.O.M. 10,14,21 crash on startup then try using the 2MG versions instead. They are configured with DOS Volume numbers 010, 014, 021 necessary for correct booting - some emulators like AppleWin only respect this property with 2MG images and not DSK.
